The company has created and operates Yamal Satellite Communications System consisting of:

Gazprom Space Systems is one of two Russian national satellite operators and one of about 40 satellite operators in the world. The company ranks the 19th position based on revenue. The World Teleport Association recognized Gazprom Space Systems as the Corporate Teleport Operator of the Year in 2009.
