The event was organized by the Ministry of Communications and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Gazprom Space Systems (GSS) took part in the show with its own exposition.

June 19 in Singapore the largest telecommunication and information technologies exhibition CommunicAsia ended. This year more than 750 companies from 55 countries participated in the exhibition. This number is 15% higher than in the previous year, which is the evidence that global and regional telecommunication companies see good prospects of this market and focus more attention on it. And, really, for the period up to 2013 there are going to be 19 new satellites on the orbit, which are anyway focused on the Middle East and North Africa.
GSS Delegation participated in the 61st issue of International Astronautical Congress (IAC-2010) held from September 27 to October 1 in Prague (Czech Republic). The Congress is conducted by International Astronautical Federation and International Academy of Astronautics. The main accent of its exposition was on the capabilities of the developing Yamal-300K, Yamal-401 and Yamal-402 satellites.
