Service Description
Satellite digital TV and audio broadcast services is an important business direction of Gazprom Space Systems. The Moscow Satellite Digital TV Center together with the company’s teleports in Dolgoye-Ledovo and Schelkovo represent the ground infrastructure for these services both at the moment and in future. The large coverage zones of Yamal-201/202 satellites allow to receive the uplinked TV and audio programs almost anywhere in Russia, CIS countries, Europe, Near East and South and South-East Asia.
Gazprom Space Systems currently uplinks seven TV packages (MCPC) and a few SCPC channels (54 TV channels in total) to Yamal-201/202 satellites. About 50 TV channels more are uplinked to these satellites by other operators from other sites.
The presence of national, regional and foreign TV channels with various and interesting content on Yamal-201/202 satellites satellites makes them attractive for cable and on-air community.
Via the Satellite Digital TV Center and the teleports Gazprom Space Systems provides distribution of TV and audio programs in single digital package: receiving programs from TV studios, digital coding, TV signal compression and its enclosure into one of the TV packages distributed by the company, uplink to Yamal-201 (C and Ku-bands) and Yamal-202 (C-band) satellites.
The company also provides SNG (satellite news gathering) services.

Yamal-300K, Yamal- 401 and Yamal-402 Satellites Based Services (satellites currently under construction)
With Yamal-300K, Yamal-401 and Yamal-402 satellites capacity and developing their Digital TV Center and teleports, Gazprom Space Systems will expand their broadcast services.
The new satellites will have higher power parameters of the links (2-3 dB higher than the same on Yamal-201/202), which shall make Gazprom Space Systems TV services even more attractive.
Besides, the new satellites will create favorable conditions for new services of Gazprom Space Systems, including direct-to-home, 3D and high definition TV.
